Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission and Kemerer Museum Team Up Landscapes of Bethlehem Opens
For Bethlehem's Harvest Festival in October 2008, the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (BFAC) invited local artists to spend the day painting in the Colonial Industrial Quarter and the lower sections of Main Street near Central Moravian Church. An exhibition featuring the artwork from the "Fall Paint Out," is currently on view at the Kemerer Museum, and includes paintings of some of Bethlehem's most historic and beloved scenes.

A special preview of the exhibition was held at noon on September 15 in conjunction with the Kemerer’s Feed Your Mind talk entitled "Bethlehem Landscapes, Then, and Now" by Edwin Havas, Professor Emeritus, Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ. Havas discussed the evolution of outdoor landscape paintings.
The exhibition can be seen Friday through Sunday, noon to 4pm through October 4.
