CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission is seeking nominations from the community for the 19th annual Tribute to the Arts Awards. These awards honor an individual, an arts organization and a business that have had a positive impact on the arts and quality of life in Bethlehem. To submit a nomination, please refer to the following criteria and guidelines. Previous winners (listed at the bottom of page) are not eligible, but previous nominees may be nominated again.

GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA
The Individual Award is given to someone who supports and promotes a branch of the arts beyond the requirements of his/her profession in a way that benefits the Bethlehem community. This category is designed to reward individual vision and service.

The Arts Organization Award given to a group that offers an especially effective venue and “grass roots” support for the arts in Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. This category is designed for independent non-profit organizations.

The Corporate Award is given to an institution that serves the local arts community through corporate/institutional giving, imaginative programming, or other support beyond its immediate business interests. This category is designed to reward corporate or institutional outreach to the arts.

Nominations are sought from a variety of arts disciplines including architecture, theater, literature, music, dance, the visual arts (painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography) and media (film, video). Nominees are considered on the merit of their contribution to the arts rather than on the number of nomination entries submitted. Award recipients will be selected by members of the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission from the nominations received by the deadline: February 14, 2009. Please send the completed form and any additional supporting material to Tribute to the Arts, c/o Robin Beaty, 2535 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
